Cilantro Lime Crema

So good on tacos & wraps! A cold dip for for sweet potato/black bean tacos or tortilla chips. I like to pair it with Smoky Chipotle Crema to cool off the heat.

It’s made from tofu!

  • Using tofu in the base keeps this dip lower in fat, as opposed to full cashew-based dips.
  • You can’t taste the tofu — it just gives it a creamy texture.
  • Because it’s made from tofu, it adds protein to whatever you’re putting it on.

How easy is it?

All you do is blend it with a high-powered blender.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 block tofu, crumbled into small pieces

  • Handful and a half cashews (add more if needed while tasting)

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • 3 cloves garlic

  • Small handful cilantro

  • Small amount of water to blend

Directions

  • Blend ingredients, adding a bit of lime or water as needed to blend.
